Within the historic city of Leiden (NL) a young family has just bought an old house. As part of the process of making it their new home, the family wanted to re-imagine the kitchen and dining space. What was previously two separate rooms, each with its own exit towards the lush green garden, is now a combined space full of life and activity. By extending the space towards the garden through building a greenhouse, the deep spaces of the house or now filled with light, with unobstructed views of the garden seen even from the living room.
